As a member (Brother or Sister) of The Society of Our Sacred Honor (SOSH), every individual is entitled to the following rights to ensure that their involvement in the Society is empowering, respectful, and aligned with the organization’s mission of fostering patriotism, honor, and camaraderie
Every Sister and Brother has the right to actively participate in all activities, events, and initiatives of SOSH at the Local, State, and National levels. This includes the ability to join discussions, contribute ideas, and be an engaged member of the SOSH community
Sisters and Brothers are entitled to the freedom of expression within SOSH, including the right to share their ideas, opinions, and perspectives in a respectful and civil manner. SOSH promotes a culture of open dialogue, particularly through its America Rethink initiative, where differing views are encouraged and respected.
All Brothers and Sisters have the right to vote in the election of Local and State Chapter leaders, as well as in other matters where voting is required. This ensures that every member has a voice in the leadership and direction of their Chapter and the Society as a whole.
Sisters and Brothers have the right to access educational resources provided by SOSH, including materials on American history, civic responsibility, leadership development, and community service. These resources are meant to empower Members to become more informed, active citizens.
Brothers and Sisters have the right to pursue leadership roles within SOSH, from Local Society Chapter positions to State and National offices. Every Member, regardless of background, has the opportunity to serve the organization and guide its mission forward through elected and appointed positions
Brothers and Sisters have the right to participate in community service projects and volunteer opportunities organized through SOSH’s America Renew initiative. All Members can contribute their time and talents to serve their communities and country, fulfilling the Society’s mission of civic engagement and service.
All Sisters and Brothers have the right to privacy regarding their membership information. SOSH will protect the personal information of its members and ensure that it is used solely for organizational purposes in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Brothers and Sisters have the right to non-discrimination within SOSH. Membership and participation are open to all, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, political belief, or background. Every Member is treated with equal respect and dignity.
Sisters and Brothers have the right to attend and participate in National and State Conventions, as well as key SOSH events, such as the SOSH Holiday Celebrations and other significant gatherings. These events are open to all members, who can engage in activities, discussions, and celebrations that unite Patriots from across the nation.
Brothers and Sisters have the right to raise concerns or offer feedback regarding the operation, direction, and policies of SOSH. Mechanisms will be provided for members to voice their suggestions or concerns to leadership in a respectful and productive manner.
Sisters and Brothers have the right to be recognized for their service and contributions to the Society. Whether through awards, public acknowledgment, or other forms of recognition, SOSH values the efforts of every member in advancing the organization’s mission.
Each Sister and Brother’s vote holds equal weight in all elections and referendums within SOSH. This right ensures that no member’s vote is devalued, and that all Members have an equal say in the decision-making process, regardless of their rank or position.
Brothers and Sisters have the right to access support and guidance from the Society, including resources for leadership, community engagement, and event planning. SOSH is committed to equipping all members with the tools they need to succeed as Society and community leaders.
Sisters and Brothers have the right to freedom from harassment or abuse of any kind within the Society. SOSH is dedicated to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for all members, ensuring that they can participate without fear of discrimination or mistreatment.
Every Sister and Brother has the right to revoke their membership at any time, should they choose to do so. Membership in SOSH is voluntary, and Members can leave the organization freely without fear of reprisal.
The Society of Our Sacred Honor is the premier National American Patriotic Honor Movement. Through grassroots action inspired by Liberty, Patriotism, Honor, and Camaraderie/Unity, SOSH empowers citizens to actively participate in the preservation and advancement of American ideals and values.
The Society of Our Sacred Honor is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3), 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Society is a nonprofit, Public Charity.
