As members of The Society of Our Sacred Honor (SOSH), Brothers and Sisters are not only granted rights but are entrusted with responsibilities that uphold the values of honor, service, and civic engagement. These responsibilities are essential to fulfilling the mission of preserving the American Promise for future generations, and every Member is expected to embody them in their actions and contributions to the Society.
As a member (Brother or Sister) of The Society of Our Sacred Honor (SOSH), every individual is entitled to the following rights to ensure that their involvement in the Society is empowering, respectful, and aligned with the organization’s mission of fostering patriotism, honor, and camaraderie
Brothers and Sisters are expected to conduct themselves with honor and integrity in all interactions, both within the Society and in their daily lives. This means upholding truthfulness, fairness, and ethical behavior, reflecting the principles upon which SOSH is built.
Every Sister and Brother has the responsibility to be an active and informed citizen, participating in the democratic process and contributing to the civic life of their community. This includes voting in elections, staying informed on national and local issues, and advocating for the well-being of the United States.
Members have a duty to engage in community service and give back to the nation. Through the America Renew initiative, Brothers and Sisters are expected to participate in volunteer projects, support charitable causes, and lead initiatives that improve their local communities and uphold the values of service to country.
Brothers and Sisters are responsible for treating others with respect and dignity, regardless of their background, beliefs, or opinions. In all interactions—especially during debates and discussions within the America Rethink initiative—Members must listen to differing viewpoints, engage in civil discourse, and contribute to a respectful environment
As part of America Remember, Sisters and Brothers are entrusted with the responsibility to preserve and honor America’s history, ensuring that the sacrifices and contributions of past generations are remembered. Members should engage in learning and teaching others about American history, understanding its lessons, and passing them on to future generations.
Patriots have a responsibility to lead by example, inspiring others through their actions, words, and commitment to SOSH’s values. Whether as a member of a Local Platoon or in a leadership role, Patriots must embody the principles of honor, service, and civic responsibility, encouraging others to do the same.
All Sisters and Brothers have the right to privacy regarding their membership information. SOSH will protect the personal information of its members and ensure that it is used solely for organizational purposes in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Sisters and Brothers have a responsibility to protect the freedoms upon which the United States was founded. This includes defending the rights of others, advocating for justice, and ensuring that the freedoms of speech, religion, and assembly are safeguarded for all Americans.
As members of SOSH, Sisters and Brothers are responsible for actively contributing to the Society’s growth and success. This includes attending meetings, participating in discussions, volunteering at events, and helping recruit new members to join the movement. Members must take ownership of the Society’s mission by ensuring that it thrives in their communities.
Patriots are responsible for contributing to solution-driven conversations, particularly through the America Rethink initiative. Instead of focusing on criticism or divisiveness, Patriots are encouraged to offer constructive solutions to the challenges facing the country and work collaboratively to find ways forward.
Brothers and Sisters must demonstrate courage in upholding their values, even in the face of adversity. This includes standing up for what is right, speaking out against injustice, and taking action when others may hesitate. Courage in leadership, service, and civic duty is essential to preserving the integrity of SOSH’s mission.
Sisters and Brothers are responsible for staying informed about the issues facing the country, both historically and in the present day. This includes continuous learning through discussions, reading, and research, particularly as it relates to SOSH’s America Remember and America Rethink initiatives.
Brothers and Sisters must support one another in their efforts to uphold the mission and values of SOSH. This means offering guidance, encouragement, and help to fellow members in their endeavors to contribute to the Society and their communities. The bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood are central to the strength of SOSH.
Sisters and Brothers are encouraged to develop their leadership abilities and take on roles within the Society. Whether through participation in a Local Society Chapter or as a member of the Grand or State Chapters, Members should seek opportunities to lead and mentor others in the pursuit of civic responsibility and service.
Every Sister and Brother has the responsibility to contribute to the long-term success and sustainability of America’s promise. This includes actions that not only benefit the present but also build a strong foundation for future generations to enjoy the freedoms and opportunities that define the United States. Members must work to ensure that the values of SOSH endure for 250 years and beyond.
The Members Bill of Responsibilities serves as a guiding document for every member of The Society of Our Sacred Honor. By embracing these responsibilities, Brothers and Sisters uphold the values of honor, patriotism and camaraderie, ensuring that they make meaningful contributions to their communities, their country, and the future of America.
The Society of Our Sacred Honor is the premier National American Patriotic Honor Movement. Through grassroots action inspired by Liberty, Patriotism, Honor, and Camaraderie/Unity, SOSH empowers citizens to actively participate in the preservation and advancement of American ideals and values.
The Society of Our Sacred Honor is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3), 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Society is a nonprofit, Public Charity.
